And now for another Stephen King movie adaptation. This time it's his story 'Mercy'. As per Variety, Universal will adapt the story from a script penned by Matt Greenberg (Halloween H20). Not familiar with the story? Well basically it's a fantasy-horror hybrid that centres around two boys who visit their dying grandmother in hospital. The boys soon discover that old grandma's actually a witch who made a pact with some dark force years before. Frances O'Connor (A.I.) will star while Paranormal Activity producer Jason Blum will produce.
