It seems that David Fincher is still very much considering directing Angelina Jolie in a huge budgeted 3D version of Cleopatra.
The actress was probed by MTV about her teaming up with the two-time Oscar nominated director and she told them, "It's all very early. Fincher's been an old friend, so we've always been looking for something to do." That's awfully ambiguous, but still, it's not a no - and who wouldn't like to see a director as brilliant as David Fincher tackle something on that scale?
Fincher is currently working on the English language remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, while Jolie was doing press for Kung Fu Panda 2 at the time and has just directed her first film, an untitled love story set in Bosnia.
