Given the current climate for this sort of thing, news like this has a certain air of inevitability; director of the original American Werewolf in London, John Landis, has sold the rights of the possible franchise to Dimension Films - who last rebooted the atrocious Halloween remake with Rob Zombie. According to horror site Bloodydisgusting.com, a new film will penned and go out to directors pretty sharpish. The last time Dimension tried to make a werewolf flick they churned out the godawful Cursed, after mistreating horror icon Wes Craven, and forcing him to reshoot massive parts of his film. Surely the new flick can't be any worse than An American Werewolf in Paris... or can it?
