Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey have revealed that they're already here in Ireland preparing to shoot the sequel to 'Enchanted', titled 'Disenchanted'.

It's not the first time Amy Adams has shot a movie on our Emerald Isle. (Though most will probably want to forget the cringe fest that was 'Leap Year'...)

The actress announced the news of her arrival on Instagram, saying: "Hi everybody. I am in Ireland where I am getting ready to start filming on the sequel to Enchanted, which I am very excited about."

She then went on to promote Foster Care Awareness month as she is an Ambassador for The RightWay Foundation.

'Disenchanted' arrives almost a decade and a half after 2007's 'Enchanted'.

Amy Adams plays Giselle in the movie, an animated maiden who gets transported to New York and becomes real.

She falls in love with lawyer Robert, played by Patrick Dempsey, who's also returning for the sequel.

Dempsey also took to Instagram to reveal he's in Ireland, sharing a couple of pictures of some green fields in the sunshine.

Idina Menzel and James Marsden are reprising their roles of Nancy and Prince Edward, respectively, from the original too.

They'll be joined by new cast members Maya Rudolph, Jayma Mays and Yvette Nicole Brown, with Rudolph said to be playing the movie's villain.

Amy Adams fans can spot the actress next in the thriller 'The Woman in the Window', which debuts on Netflix on May 14th.

'Disenchanted' will shoot in both Ireland and LA with production set to wrap this August.
