We are getting another theatrical American Pie film, and this time all of the cast are coming back - those that recall American Wedding would've noticed a lack of Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Tara Reid.
The film will be called American Reunion, and will see Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Jason Biggs, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein, Eddie Kaye Thomas and Eugene Levy all return to their most famous roles. In fairness, with the exception of Scott and possibly Hannigan (who already had a career when she appeared in the original), few of the others have managed to shine in a major way since. Levy in particular appeared in the atrocious direct to DVD series of films that acted as spin-offs. Shame on you, Eugene.
Anyhow, the theatrical trilogy was a huge financial success, but the big draw for most people was Scott's Stifler. So once he's coming back then we should have some laughs.
