Amanda Seyfried and Taylor Swift have both been offered roles in the upcoming adaptation of Les Miserables.
According to Collider.com Seyfried has been offered the role of Cosette, while tween sensation and country singer Swift has been offered the role of Eponine. The King's Speech helmer, and Oscar winner, Tom Hooper is calling the shots on the film, while the cast already has the heavyweight likes of Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Sacha Baron Cohen involved. Both Seyfried and Swift have beaten out the likes of Lea Michele and Scarlett Johansson (who seems in a bit of a lull of late) for the parts, which they yet to officially accept.
Not a big fan of musicals, but the cast here is pretty impressive and Hooper did a fine (if not Oscar worthy) job with The King's Speech so this could be different.
