I had the pleasure of meeting up-and-coming British actor Alex Pettyfer on Monday for his new Disney movie, I Am Number Four, and what a nice chap he was too. Hollywood seems to like him as well as they're currently throwing roles at the fledging thespian.

The 20 year old actor has Beastly due out in March, and has now been offered Wardstone Chronicles, which is looking likely to co-star 2011 Oscar nominees Jeff Bridges and Jennifer Lawrence. Vulture broke the story, which would see Pettyfer star in another book adaptation, this time playing a chap who is trained to uses see-in-the-dark powers to train as a "spook" and fight off ghoulish sorts. Bridges would play his mentor, and Lawrence a witch.

I Am Number Four is a big headlining gig for someone who has never really carried a movie before, but the studios are obviously sensing buzz and have put serious money up to entice the actor to projects. You can see I Am Number 4 from February 28th and we'll have all of our interviews up some time that week also.
