The theme tune to the last Bond movie (Skyfall) was largely divisive, agreed? Some of you loved it - I enjoyed it immensely - while others thought it wasn't a patch on the themes of years gone by. Regardless of that, it made a shitload of money and it won both Adele and Paul Epworth enough awards to entirely cover their respective mantle pieces. So with that in mind, it looks like Adele will be sticking around for the next Bond flick too. Apparently, Eon Productions want her to sign a deal to return to produce the next song; whether she'll voice it herself remains unknown. Not only that, but they want her to become as synonymous with the Bond franchise as Dame Shirley Bassey. Could well happen, you know. She was the first ever vocalist to win an Academy Award for her involvement with Bond.
Speaking to The Sun, "Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele's presence on the next film will replicate that success... They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley."
