With Henry Cavill recently cast as Superman, attention has now firmly turned to who will play his other half, Lois Lane.
Latino Review has published the names of those apparently in contention for the Zack Snyder helmed flick. Kristen Stewart, Rachel McAdams (early favourite), Jessica Biel, Dianna Agron and Malin Akerman are being considered. While it’s also reported that Kristen Bell, Olivia Wilde and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have tested for the role. Given Cavill’s age (27), it’s more likely to be someone like Biel or McAdams, who can realistically play the same range as Cavill - but who also have proven lead experience on their own.
There are some really wonderful actresses there, but I don’t think anyone suits the part better than McAdams. As well as being beautiful, she’s the best actress of the bunch.
