A huge fan of Star Wars in Japan has spent some time putting together his latest prop for his next cosplay outfit: the lightsaber from The Force Awakens.
Makoto Tsai was one of the legions of fans who were pretty excioted by the new Star Wars trailer that dropped a few weeks ago, and despite the fact that plenty of people were complaining about the design of the new lightsaber (which was expertly explained by Stephen Colbert) he built a version of it himself.
Now, while it can't deflect laser beams or cut through human flesh, it's still a pretty great effort, and has gone viral after he posted the pictures of him wielding the weapon to his Facebook page.
