You might remember we told you last week that Emma Watson's name was being thrown about for 50 Shades of Grey again. Well, sorry to disappoint folks, but it looks as though she most definitely will not be having anything to do with the movie at all at all.
The actress took to Twitter over the Bank Holiday weekend to deny that she had signed on to take the role of college student Anna, tweeting "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life."Well Emma, we have to admit that for a while there, we did. Sure she wouldn't be the first child star to go and do something a wee bit mental now would she? At the same time though, we kinda did think she was a bit too much of a classy lassy to do it without a body double at least...
The claim itself originally came from online hackers Anonymous, who said they'd gotten their hands on some rather important documentation about the film, and that's probably why so many people fell for it. Seems Emma thought the whole thing was rather amusing though. We had to laugh - sure at least she has a sense of humor when it comes to the rumours!
Don't worry if you're still hoping for a film! The adaptation of EL James's bestselling novel is still going ahead, and as soon as we find out more about it, we'll fill you in.
