The Zak Efron starring comedy 17 Again topped the American box-office chart this passing weekend, as the tweens proved once again that they are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to turning out for their favourite idols. The film grossed an impressive $24.2 million to give it first place, while the enjoyable thriller State of Play bagged a respectable $14.1 million. Crank: High Voltage underperformed slightly, taking in a poor $6.5 million domestically, but doing much better at the global box office.
