There's been rumours of a sequel to Hugh Jackman's 'The Greatest Showman' since its huge success at the box office and the resulting stage show.
And Zac Efron appeared to confirm that talks are happening behind the scenes on Graham Norton on Friday night. He was on to promote the Ted Bundy biopic 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile' and discussed his transformation, but Graham couldn't resist asking about the possibility of a sequel to 'The Greatest Showman'.
"Hugh is working on all sorts of things including a one man show. What’s next? I don’t know but I hope there is a sequel," he said.
"The real answer is 'could be'. I'm not sure. I'm being completely honest with you, there is talk of something going around but no one is really sure."
"I think right now there's more emphasis being put on what will happen with it. No one is really sure right now, so that's the honest truth. But I think someone is working on a treatment for something... I know they are, they're working on a treatment for something," he continued.
Earlier this year director Michael Gracey also confirmed that talks were taking place.
"When a movie becomes as big a success as this, it’s only natural there is demand for a sequel. So those discussions have started and we are working on one right now," he said.
