There are some characters are just as much defined by a costume as they are by a prop.
Sherlock Holmes and his smoking pipe and deerstalker, Indiana Jones and the bullwhip, Luke Skywalker and his lightsaber - one is just as much a part of the other. Mark Hamill, when he's not recording Donald Trump's tweet in the voice of Joker or pulling pints down in Dingle, hosts a show called Mark Hamill's Pop Culture Quest where he talks with collectors and the like about items and trinkets from pop culture history.
In an upcoming episode, Hamill was reunited with something very much a part of his past - namely, the lightsaber prop that he used in Return of the Jedi. As you'll see in the clip below, there's also a bit of history surrounding that particular prop in that it was originally used by Alec Guinness in A New Hope in 1976, when the film was made, and was then repurposed for Return of the Jedi's production in 1982.
Take a look.
