The Academy has done a full 360 following widespread backlash, and now it appears that all five nominees in the Best Original Song category will be performing on the night.

Last week, it was reported that The Oscars would only allow two of the five to take to the stage; 'Shallow' from 'A Star Is Born,' and 'All The Stars' from 'Black Panther.' Many saw it as favouritism from the Academy, and not a fair way to cut their show's running time down to a pocket-sized three hours.

Now, sources close to Variety have said that the nominees might have banded together to show solidarity with each-other. The Oscars have now suggested that each song be given a 90-second segment each, and have approached all parties to see if they'll play ball.

Jennifer Hudson is apparently the only singer to be confirmed to sing so far; everything is likely being kept under wraps for a "surprise" reveal.

In terms of who's odds on to win The Oscar Award might not be too hard to conclude. Considering that The Academy were only willing to show 'Shallow' and 'All The Stars' on the night narrows the options down to those two for sure. Who are we kidding - it's going to be Gaga.

Below are all five nominees up for Best Original Song.

Jennifer Hudson - 'I'll Fight' ('RBG')

Willie Watson & Tim Blake Nelson - 'When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings' ('The Ballad of Buster Scruggs')

Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - 'Shallow' ('A Star Is Born')

Kendrick Lamar & SZA - 'All The Stars' ('Black Panther')

Emily Blunt - 'The Place Where Lost Things Go' ('Mary Poppins Returns')

Who do you think will take The Oscar home on the night? Is 'A Star Is Born' the unstoppable force we think it will be - or is there an upset on the cards? We'll have to wait until Sunday, February 24th to find out.
