The 'Thor: Ragnarok' star did not appear in superhero mash up ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

Over the weekend Tessa Thompson took to Twitter to insist that not only was Valkyrie doing just fine, she was in fact ‘thriving’. Some fans had questioned whether she would ever return to the MCU after not showing up in the last Avengers instalment.

However, Thompson insists that reports of Valkyrie’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. Her theory is that not being in Infinity War, and avoiding Thanos’ Infinity Snap, means it’s even more likely that she will return. This is a compelling argument.

The rumours went into overdrive last week when Thompson was spotted on a plane with Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth, who was reportedly on his way to film re-shoots for Avengers 4. The pair are also co-starring in the new Men In Black spin-off and shared this behind the scenes pic recently.

We’ll have to wait for the Avengers 4 trailer to see if they’ll reunite in that too.
