There were fears that as the last of a trilogy, 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' was going to mark the last outing for Tom Holland as the titular superhero.
That rumour has now been squashed by Amy Pascal, who has been a longtime producer on the 'Spider-Man' franchise.
Pascal spoke to Fandango and stated that Sony will continue to collaborate with Marvel Studios on future Spidey outings.
Moreover, this is far from the last time we'll see Tom Holland in the role.
Pascal says: "This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie.
"We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel.
"We're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies."
When asked about how the franchise will tie into the likes of 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' and 'Venom', Pascal answers: "I would say there's so many things that we're going to be able to explore, but what we always have to do before we decide who the villain is going to be and what Spidey goes up against is what is the story we're telling about? You know?
"What's the Peter Parker story we're telling? What's the Miles Morales story that we're telling? But we always have to start with that.
"The good thing about these movies is as big as the canvas they take place on can be, they are always just stories about a kid."
As for whether Holland could appear in a non-MCU movie as Spidey, she says: "We all want to keep making movies together. How’s that for an answer?"
In 'Spider-Man: Far From Home', Holland's Parker will come face to face with villains from across the franchise's history, including Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx).
Its release date in cinemas is December 17th.
