The former movie collaborators' relationship has not been the same since multiple sexual misconduct allegations were placed against Franco.

Seth Rogen has admitted that his relationship with James Franco is not what it once was, saying that he takes any form of abuse or harassment very seriously.

This is following on from the sexual allegations which Franco has been embroiled in over the past three years. In 2018, five women accused the actor of sexual misconduct, including actor Charlene Yi who worked with him on 'The Disaster Artist'. She posted on Instagram that she tried to break her contract because Franco was a "sexual predator" who tried to bribe her.

Since then, the actor has remained largely out of the public eye, while also settling two lawsuits from different accusers.

Franco's long-time collaborator Seth Rogen has now said that his relationship with the Oscar-nominated actor has changed. The pair previously worked on a number of big profile movies and TV shows together, from 'Freaks and Geeks', 'Pineapple Express' and 'This Is The End'.

When asked about the allegations placed against his former colleague, Rogen said to the Sunday Times Magazine: "What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that.

Speaking on the pair's relationship right now, and if it had become fraught, he said: "I don’t know if I can define that right now during this interview. I can say it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic.

"Yeah. But not as painful and difficult as it is for a lot of other people involved. I have no pity for myself in this situation."

Finally, when asked if he would continue to work with the actor in the future, Rogen said: "I … look back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now."

When the sexual misconduct allegations against Franco first came to light in 2018, Rogen had said he would keep working with him.

Rogen has released his autobiography recently, entitled 'Yearbook'.
