Writer / Producer / Director Judd Apatow turns the big 5-0 today, so we're asking which of his films is your favourite?
Apatow got his first big in 1992, creating the short lived Ben Stiller Show. When that ended he began working on The Larry Sanders Show and then went on to create the cult classic Freaks and Geeks which saw him work with Seth Rogan and James Franco for the first time.
In 2005, he directed his first feature film, The 40 Year-Old Virgin, which he followed up with Knocked Up in 2007. In 2009 he directed his third film, Funny People, starring Adam Sandler as a dying stand-up comedian, and then his fourth film, This Is 40, was released in 2012 and starred his real life wife and daughters. Most recently he helmed Amy Schumer's Trainwreck.
Despite his work as a director, much of his career success has come as a producer. He worked on films Anchorman, Superbad and Step Brothers which had major cultural impact during the 00s, and this year was involved with surprise hit The Big Sick. He was also an executive producer on Girls and is involved with Netflix series, Love.
