Last night's Oscars was a night to remember and jam-packed full of surprises.

'Parasite' was the big winner of the night taking home the Oscars for Best Director (Bong Joon Ho) and Best Picture, beating favourites Sam Mendes and '1917'.

As for the acting categories, all the winners you expected took home their well-earned gongs - Joaquin Phoenix won for Best Actor ('Joker'); Renee Zellweger won for Best Actress ('Judy'); Brad Pitt for Supporting Actor ('Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'); and Laura Dern for Supporting Actress ('Marriage Story').

There were some epic tweets which captured some of the best behind-the-scenes moments of the night.

But here are some other bits you might have missed.

1. Billie Eilish's face when Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph started singing

The look of utter disgust - brilliant.

2. Steve Martin and Chris Rock's digs at the lack of diversity in the categories

Their jab at the Best Director's category may be even better than Rebel Wilson's at the BAFTAs...

The pair also talked about the lack of racial diversity in the acting categories (Cynthia Ervio was the only person of colour to be nominated this year).

3. When the guys from 'Cats' came out

At least they can acknowledge how terrible it really was.

4. Timothee Chalamet cheering his little heart out for Saoirse Ronan

So adorable...

5. Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves present an award

Their jokes about 'Something's Gotta Give' were so very awkward. But hey, awkward makes good entertainment.

6. Eminem's performance

But mostly, Martin Scorsese's face during Eminem's performance...

7. Olivia Colman presents an award

Her jokes about her husband were just fantastic.

8. Brie Larson's toes

We don't fully understand what's going on here but we're kind of mesmirised.

9. Dedications to Kobe Bryant

Among the dedications to Kobe Bryant on the night, Best Animated Short Film winner Matthew Cherry dedicated his win to the recently deceased basketball star, who won the same award in 2018.

Spike Lee's outfit was also in tribute to Kobe.

10. The lights come back on during the 'Parasite' acceptance speech

In typical Oscars style, they started dimming the lights to rush the 'Parasite' crew off the stage when they won best picture.

However the audience called for the lights to be turned back up. So they were.
