The Guy Richie directed Disney movie has released it's first official footage, after Will Smith teased us with a new poster.
While it doesn't give away too much, the teaser trailer for Disney's upcoming live-action version of 'Aladdin' does give us a glimpse of the first part of the movie - when street urchin Aladdin discovers the magical lamp. The lamp in question is holding none other than Smith's genie inside, but unfortunately we'll have to wait a while longer until we're given a look at the character.
What we do see however, is the 'Cave of Wonders' being opened, and all of the treasure waiting inside. The cave roars "only one may enter here... a diamond in the rough".
As well as Smith playing Genie, the cast also includes Naomi Scott ('Power Rangers') as Jasmine; Mena Massoud ('Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan') as Aladdin; Marwan Kenzari ('What Happened to Monday') as baddie Jafar; and Navid Negahban ('Legion') as Jasmine's father, the Sultan.
'Aladdin' is due for release in May 2019.
