Liam Neeson is heading out on another Cold Pursuit...
Co-starring Laurence Fishburne, Benjamin Walker, Amber Midthunder, and Holt McCallany, Liam Neeson leads the cast of 'The Ice Road'.
The movie comes from VVS Films, the production studio also behind such upcoming action movies as 'The Protégé' and 'The Hitman's Bodyguard's Wife'.
The synopsis for 'The Ice Road' reads: "After a remote diamond mine collapses in the far northern regions of Canada, an expert driver leads an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the lives of trapped miners.
"The mission escalates into chaos due to the thawing waters and a threat the rescuers never saw coming."
Jonathan Hensleigh, who wrote on such movies as 'Die Hard with a Vengeance', 'Jumanji' and 'Armageddon' in the past', penned and directs the action-thriller.

Other recent credits from the Irish actor include Amazon Prime movie 'Made in Italy', which he starred in opposite his son, and IFTA Best Film winner 'Ordinary Love'.
Netflix paid $18 million for the distribution rights to 'The Ice Road' in the US. The streamer will premiere the feature on June 25th.
Where and when the movie will be available here in Ireland has yet to be confirmed.
