Actor Ray Fisher has accused director Joss Whedon of displaying “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” behavior when they worked on the set of 'Justice League'.

Ray Fisher played Cyborg in the DC movie. He first implied he had a bone to pick with Whedon when he tweeted the following this week.

The actor shared a clip from a panel in which he sang the praises of Whedon's direction. He captioned it: "I’d like to take a moment to forcefully retract every bit of this statement."

Fisher followed it with a more detailed tweet.

In it, he not only criticised Whedon's behaviour during the making of the superhero epic.

He also claimed that both former Warner Bros. co-president of production Jon Berg, and former DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns "enabled" Whedon.

The poor box office performance of 'Justice League' had led to them exiting DC Films.

Fisher writes: "Joss Wheadon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.

"He was enabled, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.

Fisher offered no corroboration for his claims.

Neither Warner Bros. nor Whedon has offered a statement.

Berg told Variety that it was “categorically untrue that we enabled any unprofessional behavior.”

He added: “I remember [Fisher] being upset that we wanted him to say ‘Booyaa,’ which is a well known saying of Cyborg in the animated series.”

'Justice League' hit cinemas in 2017. A "Snyder cut" of the film is in the works. It lands on HBO Max next year.
