Paying homage to her late mother, the star of the latest 'Halloween' movie proves how much of a scream queen she really is.

Jamie Lee Curtis, the star of the 'Halloween' franchise, killed it on the fancy dress red carpet of the latest entry in the Michael Myers horror.

The 62-year-old wore a fancy dress costume that was reminiscent of her mother's look in Alfred Hitchcock's iconic movie, 'Psycho'. Janet Leigh was one of the original horror movie scream queens, and the 1960 movie cemented her as one of Hollywood's finest actresses. The actress died in 2004 at the age of 77.

Dressed up in a blue dress, a short blonde wig, and carrying both a black handbag and a blood-stained shower curtain, Jamie Lee Curtis really looked the part of Marion Crane at the movie premiere which took place at the TLC Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Take a look at some of the photos she uploaded onto her Instagram for her followers. The star also posed beside her 'Halloween Kills' co-star Judy Greer, who was dressed as Diane Keaton's character from 'Annie Hall'.

'Halloween Kills' is the second entry in this new trilogy of horror films for the franchise, which centres on Laurie Strode once again dealing with her old friend Michael Myers. The first entry, simple titled 'Halloween', was released in 2018, while the third (and final?) film, 'Halloween Ends', will be released in October 2022.

Catch Jamie Lee Curtis in her penultimate appearance in the franchise when 'Halloween Kills' slashes its way onto cinema screens this Friday, October 15.
