You almost always associate Mark Hamill with one of maybe two roles - either as Luke Skywalker in the 'Star Wars' franchise, or Joker from 'Batman: The Animated Series'.
Outside of these roles, however, Mark Hamill has built an intriguing and varied filmography as a voice artist, and his latest effort is... different, to say the least. Hamill voices Chucky in the reboot of 'Child's Play' (and it's surprisingly not bad at all), but also provides the creepy AF theme song for it.
In fact, the song actually comes into the movie as well, and as Hamill tweeted out this weekend, he had it stuck in his head for the duration of the recording sessions in order to get it right. It sounds... well, creepy AF. It's meant to.
All the while, it's hard to get the idea that it's Luke Skywalker singing this weird little lullaby at you. Very, very odd.
Have a listen.
I listened to "The Buddi Song"🎶 50+ times in the days before I recorded it. Now it's stuck in my head FOREVER. See @ChildsPlayMovie 🔪 in theaters everywhere today & please stay all the way through the end-credits so it can be stuck in yours! Tickets here https://t.co/r1xeIlTQtA pic.twitter.com/0aM2ocmazU
