The cast of 'Don't Worry Darling', the new film from 'Booksmart' director Olivia Wilde, have been placed into quarantine as production on the film shuts down. Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, and Chris Pine are among those who will now have to self isolate.
The shutdown occurred immediately after a member of the production tested positive for COVID-19.
Olivia Wilde also has a small starring role in the feature. Supporting cast members also include KiKi Layne, Gemma Chan and Nick Kroll.
'Don't Worry Darling' has a script by Carey and Shane Van Dyke. It was rewritten by Wilde and her 'Booksmart' partner Katie Silberman.
Production on the movie had been following strict protocols. The positive test came up during routine testing.
According to Deadline, the individual who tested positive is not a member of the principal cast.
The movie will not resume shooting for about 14 days. They were only a few weeks into production when New Line ceased filming.
'Don't Worry Darling' isn't the first studio production to be stalled by a positive COVID test.
Previously, 'The Batman' was shut down after its star Robert Pattinson tested positive.
Additionally, Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic delayed production when Tom Hanks tested positive days before filming was set to start.
