Josh Gad has started a new Youtube series called Reunited Apart which we'll be forever grateful for. The show has seen the reunion of casts from several movie classics including 'The Goonies', 'Back to the Future' and, most recently 'The Lord of the Rings'. Next it was time to call the 'Ghostbusters' and while the get-together was over zoom, it was still awesome.
The original 'Ghostbusters' is 36 years old but since its release, it's gathered fans from across generations.
Loads of the original cast members popped up in Gad's latest including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver; and Annie Potts.
Director and producer Ivan Reitman joined them, as did his son Jason Reitman, who will soon be directing the reeboot/sequel 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife'.
Gad also had some guests who's played smaller roles in the movie. They included William Atherton (Walter Peck), and Michael Ensign, the stuffy manager of the Sedgewick Hotel.
Kumail Nanjiani hopped in to quiz the stars on their iconic lines from the film.
Ray Parker Jr., who wrote and performed the iconic theme song, also featured.
Of course there was talk as well about Harold Ramis, who co-wrote and starred in the movie, and passed away in 2014, among a lot of other reminiscing. Really heartfelt stuff.
