Annie Potts returns for the sequel movie - but there's also a brief moment at the end of the trailer which has us very excited.
In the brand new 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' trailer, we see the children of the movie take the spotlight, with a little help from Paul Rudd's character called Mr. Grooberson. But what struck us with this new look at the movie is that it is heaped with nostalgia from the original two 'Ghostbusters' movies.
Director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman return for this new entry in the 'Ghostbusters' series, which will follow the events of 1989's 'Ghostbusters II' 30-ish years later. However, there will also be the return of the original cast, and alongside Potts, there will also be Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Dan Aykroyd - the latter of which gets a little nod during the trailer below.
Fresh faces for the 'Ghostbusters' franchise will be Finn Wolfhard from 'Stranger Things' as Trevor, with Mckenna Grace playing his younger sister Phoebe, who is the one who uncovers the greatness that is busting ghosts. the kids move to a small town with their single mom - Carrie Coon - and they begin to unearth the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
Originally due for release during summer 2020, the fantasy adventure will now arrive on cinema screens for Thanksgiving (November) later this year.
