Oscar-nominated flick Get Out was one of the most talked about movies of last year and marked the solo directorial debut of Jordan Peele, one half of Comedy Central's Key & Peele. Jordan isn't hanging on too long with getting his next project started it seems and has revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that he will be filming a new movie this year.

"I am currently writing it, and I'll direct for Universal this year," Peele said during his appearance at the Hollywood Masters series at Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and TV. "I'm just trying to entertain myself again."

Peele, who is also nominated for Best Director at this year's Academy Awards, went on to say that the new movie would have a similar tone to the subversive Get Out: "One thing I know is that this is genre... that's my sweet spot. So I think tonally it should resemble Get Out. That said, I want to make a completely different movie. I want to address something different than race in the next one."

However he didn't rule out returning to Get Out down the line saying: "I feel like there's more story to tell. I don't know what it is now but there are some loose ends that want to be tied up.

"I would never want to do a sequel that just feels like for the sake of doing a sequel. I would have to have a story that I feel like would take it up a notch."

You can expect to see Peele's next movie in 2019.
