If you're disappointed to be missing out on Comic Con season this summer, there's an upside. DC and Warner Bros. are launching an immersive virtual fan experience to make up for it.
Warner Bros. is hosting DC FanDome, a free virtual fan convention, on August 22nd.
The event will include discussions with the talent behind superhero films we can't wait to see, such as 'Wonder Woman 1984', 'The Batman', 'The Suicide Squad,' and the Snyder Cut of 'Justice League'.
The global event will immerse fans into the DC Multiverse and is accessible for 24 hours.
There will be new announcements from WB games, film and TV, and comics.
DC favourites such as 'Aquaman'; ;Batwoman'; ;Black Adam'; 'Black Lightning'; 'DC Super Hero Girls'; 'DC’s Legends of Tomorrow'; 'DC’s Stargirl'; 'Doom Patrol'; 'The Flash'; 'Harley Quinn'; 'Lucifer'; 'Pennyworth'; 'SHAZAM!'; 'Supergirl'; 'Superman & Lois'; 'Teen Titans GO!'; 'Titans'; 'Watchmen'; and 'Young Justice: Outsiders' all get a look-in from the cast and creators.
Fans will have access to the latest news, exclusive footage, special programming, panels and presentations.
The event will be split into six categories with the goal of emulating a convention-going experience, for example, there's one category for kids, another dedicated to panels and screenings, while another centres on user-generated content, fan art and cosplaying.
Speaking of the latter, you can submit your cosplay, makeup, and tattoos to create.DCFanDome.com. This gives you a chance to be featured inside the virtual world event plus select winners will receive part of a cash prize pool courtesy of DC and Talenthouse.
DC FanDome kicks off at 10 a.m. PT (6 p.m. for Ireland and the UK) and will be accessible for 24 hours at dcfandome.com.
