‘Avengers: Infinity War’ from Disney and Marvel Studios has officially made over $2 billion at the box office worldwide.

The announcement was made by Disney yesterday. Only three other films have crossed the milestone – ‘Avatar’ ($2.79 billion), ‘Titanic’ ($2.19 billion), and ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ ($2.07 billion).

According to Box Office Mojo, ‘Infinity War’ has knocked ‘Jurassic World’ out of its spot to become the fourth highest grossing film of all time (unadjusted for inflation).

It holds the record for fastest film to hit the $1 billion worldwide mark, having done so in only 11 days.

Domestically, the superhero epic is the fifth-highest grossing movie of all time, with $656.1 million through June 11.

It also holds the record for biggest domestic debut ever. It made $257.7 million in its opening weekend of April 27th to April 29th, topping ‘The Force Awakens’ by nearly $10 million.
