Not all of us can afford to to get to the Himalayas, but this ultra HD video is the next best thing.

The video, captured by the aerial cinema experts at Teton Gravity Research, features some of the world's most famous mountains in the world, including of course the highest peak on the planet, Mount Everest.

It was shot from 20,000 feet in a helicopter by a crew using some of the most advanced cameras and stabilising devices on the market, and the results are breathtaking, as the beauty and majesty of the unspoiled mountain range is captured with a level of detail and clarity that hasn't been seen up to this point.
