Russell Brand has been getting a lot of attention on his YouTube videos for having a go at American news anchors, and it looks like he has annoyed a few of them at least a little bit.
A few days back, Russell brand took to his YouTube channel to critique the interview style of one of Fox News' presenters Sean Hannity, in particular his coverage of the current conflict between Israel and Gaza.
Hannity interviewed representatives from both sides in his particularly distinctive style, which Russell noted contained plenty of shouting, finger pointing and he claimed was promoting a certain agenda over all others. Well, it seems that Sean managed to get a look at that video, and he wasn't too thrilled with what he saw.
In response, he decided to hit back at Brand, calling him "dumb and ignorant", an "out-of-work" actor, and generally having a go at him, and inviting his guests on the panel to do so too. However, Geraldo Rivera, who appears on the show with Hannity, seems to be speaking the most sense, which is when you know things have gotten out of hand.
Brand hasn't responded yet, but he also turned his attention to Bill O'Reilly, one of the biggest names on that same TV channel. Here, he takes a look at O'Reilly's "Tip of the Day" section, which in this particular episode focuses on those low-paid workers in America who are living paycheck to paycheck. He's got some advice for them apparently, but Russell is not so sure that O'Reilly is the best one to be giving that lecture.
We're looking forward to the beef between him and Fox News stepping up a notch, as we'd love to see a properly moderated debate between Hannity and Brand on air, maybe throw O'Reilly and Colbert or Stewart in there for good measure.
