Well, that didn't take long, did it?
Although we're STILL waiting for an official launch date, Pokemon GO has really taken off in Ireland in a huge way - particularly in urban centres like Cork, Dublin and Limerick. We've noticed that, more often than not, pubs seem to be doubling for both Pokestops and Pokegyms.
So, what's the next logical step? A Pokemon GO pubcrawl, of course. The event, which is being organised by the Pokemon GO Ireland Facebook page, will see trainers / drinkers in Dublin dropping Lure modules at specific pubs / Pokestops and walking a trail across the city. The event is set to take place on Saturday, July 30th from 8PM.
So far, anyway, the names of the pubs haven't been announced, but we're assuming it's somewhere in the city centre. We already know that the Temple Bar in Temple Bar is a Pokegym, so that could very well be the starting point.
All the details for the event are over on Facebook, if you fancy heading along!
We're currently in the process of putting together a county-by-county guide for Pokemon GO and we need YOUR help! E-mail [email protected] or contact us on Twitter to let us know where you're finding Pokegyms, rare Pokemon and anything interesting!
