Ireland has a long history with football club Norwich City, with Robbie Keane's first-ever professional goal coming against the side, Wes Hoolahan lining out for the team for a decade, and now Irish streamer TheGaraShow has joined their ranks.
The streamer has joined 1J eSports, the official eSports team of the Premier League club.
1J eSports represents Norwich FC in the eSports sphere, with fellow Premier League teams Manchester City, Wolves and West Ham United also boasting eSports teams.
TheGaraShow, a streamer for LegionArena, said the move was a "massive step in my career of content creation."
"Working alongside a Premier League Club is something I would have only dreamed about when I started this journey," the streamer said.
"I can't wait to make content with 1J Esports and show the world what Irish content creators can do," he added.
The streamer boasts 37,000 followers on Twitch.
O'Gara will now take part in competitions for Norwich's eSports team, and will go up against the likes of Manchester City's eSports team, which is partnered with the dominant Faze Clan.
Norwich's team was launched last September and primarily competes in 'FIFA' tournaments, with a view to branching out into other games.
A spokesperson for 1J eSports said of the team "We are built from the same DNA as our club. Growth, resilience, integrity, pride, belonging and commitment - these are our values and they influence the way we think, communicate, and behave."
