Released in Ireland on April 11th, 1992, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System - or SNES, as it was usually known - was arguably the most popular games console of the '90s in Europe.

With an incredible range of games available, the SNES was the first and defining game experience for many people. Even today, the rebooted miniature version of the console is extremely popular with players both old and young.
