Although we're just a week or so into the launch of the Nintendo Switch, it appears as though the new games console is a qualified success.
For example, Breath Of The Wild is now one of the most well-reviewed games in history and, according to sales data, the Switch outsold the Wii U on its launch day by something close to 100,000 figures.
What's more, the Switch now seems to be having an impact on web traffic. YouPorn reports that, since the Nintendo Switch has launched, they've noted a 17% drop since the Switch launched, accounting for the largest drop in traffic this year so far. This, of course, is nothing new. Many porn websites track events in relation to traffic; Ireland's traffic to PornHub dipped during the Late Late Toy Show (no, really) and so on.
However, the other interesting thing to note is that the Switch is also having an impact on what people are looking for. According to YouPorn's data, searches on their site for "Link" and Zelda" increased by 164% and 107% respectively.
