Telltale Games, the studio behind the adaptation of 'The Walking Dead' and the likes of 'The Wolf Among Us' and 'Tales From The Borderlands', is working on an adaptation of 'Stranger Things'.
The studio confirmed the news in a series of tweets, explaining that as well as 'Minecraft: Story Mode', there'll also be a separate game based on the smash-hit Netflix series that'll run parallel to it. Per their statement, there's been no word on release dates or what the game will entail, but given how it's TellTale Games, you can expect something along the same lines as before.
According to a source with TechRadar, the game was originally supposed to launch with the second season of 'Stranger Things', but was postponed for unknown reasons. Whether or not the game will launch with the upcoming third season is anyone's guess at the moment.
This isn't the first major television series that TellTale Games has adapted into their episodic gaming style, as the studio has already tackled the likes of 'Game Of Thrones' and 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' with some success. It's not known if TellTale's game based on 'Stranger Things' will be an adaptation of the series or if it'll run parallel to the series as a whole.
For the moment, let's just enjoy the intro to 'Stranger Things' and hope that Steve makes an appearance somewhere along the way.
