Unlike its rival over at Sega, the Super Nintendo wasn't necessarily burdened with the moral panic and controversy surrounding videogames of the time.
That said, there were more than a few games in the vast library of Super Nintendo games that were more than a little scary. Still, the console reached a huge amount of players in its day and continues to be seen as one of the defining consoles of gaming.
