We've talked before about how great Overwatch is and if you feel like sampling it, you can next weekend.
Blizzard is offering free trials of Overwatch this weekend for players on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The free weekend kicks off from November 18th, 7PM and runs until the 21st of November. In that time period, you'll be able to using the full roster of heroes, all thirteen maps and a selection of featured game modes, including Weekly Brawls, Quick Play and Loot Boxes.
What's more, any points or loot you pick up over the free weekend will be held if you decide to buy Overwatch once the free trial expires, so it won't be a wasted opportunity. The only hitch is that you'll need to be an Xbox Live Gold Member and / or PlayStation Plus membership to download the trial.
The setup is pretty easy, too.
For PlayStation 4 players, it's as follows:
- Search for Overwatch in PlayStation Store
- Select Overwatch Free Weekend from the results
- Download and go
Xbox One, it's pretty much the same:
- Search for Overwatch in Xbox Store
- Select Overwatch: Origins Edition and then click Free Trial
- Download and once it clears, hit launch and go
As we said, we're big fans of Overwatch and we've talked before about how good it is, so this is definitely worth checking out - and, best part, it's all free.
