After some server issues and lagging, it now looks like Destiny 2 is officially off and running - and has passed 1,200,000 players online concurrently.
The news comes as the early figures for Destiny 2's launch are being compiled, with pre-sales figures for the game said to have been "amazing", according to one retail executive who spoke to GameRant.com.

Destiny 2 passing the one-million mark, with two hundred thousand players to spare, is a big achievement - as many believed that Destiny 2 would only appeal to fans of the original game, especially considering that the game left a lot to be desired for some players.
