Cristiano Ronaldo has been announced as the global cover star of FIFA 18 by EA earlier today.

In a press statement, Ronaldo said that "is a real pleasure to be on the cover of FIFA 18" and that he's "grateful to have been chosen.” Ronald was named the global ambassador for EA FIFA for the first time, and cited the fact that Ronaldo's movements were captured for in-game use as well.

FIFA 18 hits Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Switch on September 29th. Here's the reveal trailer.
