Prepare to get enraged all over again this autumn.
With Sony recently unveiling their new Playstation 5, it seemed like attention for their current-generation console might be waning. That's not all true by the looks of it, as the Playstation 4 will be getting 'Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time' later this year.
The fourth entry in the Crash saga comes two years after the original trilogy were released all bundled up together back in 2018, which was a runaway success with fans longing for some head-wrecking platform nostalgia. The release of the trilogy inspired even more previous titles from the Playstation 1/Playstation 2 era to come out of the woodwork, with 'Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled' and the 'Spyro Reignited Trilogy' to follow suit.
In the trailer for Crash and Coco's next adventure, we can see that there will be new worlds to explore, as well as some interesting new gameplay dynamics such as the ability to slow down time, and some new gravity-defying abilities to play around with.
Set to Fatboy Slim's track 'Funk Soul Brother', it's clear that the folks over at Sony are pulling on the nostalgia strings hard. And it's worked - because we can't wait to throw our remotes on the floor in frustration all over again in a new tale.
Available from October 2, if you buy 'Crash Bandicoot 4' digitally, you can get the "Totally Tubular Skins" for Crash and Coco available from launch day.
