If you don't already know, BUZZ is an interactive quiz which utilises unique buzzers to answer questions.
At this stage, BUZZ is pretty much an institution. It's a rare day now that having fallen into someone's bedsit at 4am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning after an evening of swilling gargle, that some bright spark doesn't suggest a friendly (yet competitive) round of Buzz.
Warning: this can end in tears/fights/Garda presence. My first outing with BUZZ was a disaster; somewhere nearby, the sun was rising, crime-fighters were tucking themselves up in bed, and I was fervently attempting to best my comrades and prove that I was the smartest. I lost, badly. I came last. One of my competitors was asleep and still managed to beat me.
Still, I was optimistic about the next generation of BUZZ, and I was right - it's just as much addictive fun, although one or two hiccups tarnish an otherwise perfect score. For starters, the rounds are too short, and bizarrely, the buzzers are not rechargeable. Apart from these minor faults, this is a classic - and a must for the party players out there.
