The next-gen exclusive looks like it may well be the best game in the franchise
Having left Warner Bros Games in Montreal in charge of the last installment of the Batman: Arkham franchise, the folks at Rocksteady studio are back, and with a bang by the looks of this gameplay trailer. The trailer lays out the plot of this latest game, where Scarecrow has returned to Gotham, taken hold, and is looking to bring together a series of villains from The Rogues Gallery to cause Batman pain and suffering.
We've been very excited by what we've seen from the snippets released so far, but this trailer gives us the best look yet at the gameplay, and, importantly, the first look at what it will be like to use the Batmobile, which will be the first time the vehicle has been made available in this series to date. Needless to say, it's been everyone's dream since they were a a child to drive the Dark Knight's iconic car, so no pressure on them at all to get this absolutely perfect...
Rocksteady have already made it clear that the game will be the last in the series, and the hype is already building nicely for its release later this year on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but if this is even half as good as the first two, we're not so sure they'll be able to leave it at this.
