There is nothing trad musicians like better than getting together with their peers for a ‘jam’. And that’s exactly what we have here. All of the musicians taking part will have spent the morning tutoring at music workshops and now they are ready to cut loose and have a bit of fun. Given the calibre of the musicians involved, this very much looks like being one of the gigs of the weekend. Zoë Conway (fiddle) and John McIntyre (guitar) are joined by harpist Eilís Lavelle, singer Niamh Parsons, Pádraig McGovern on pipes, Peter Browne on accordion, Kíla singer and bodhrán player Rónán Ó Snodaigh and former Danú flautist Tom Doorley. Those attending the workshops get free admission.
