The culmination of a joint project with The Dock Arts Centre, this celebratory concert will showcase a wealth of creativity and talent across Sligo and Leitrim in a concert that merges traditional and classical communities in both counties.
Featuring a selection of traditional music and original compositions from Michael Rooney, this spectacular concert will also reveal the music of Constance, a new production commissioned by the Hawk’s Well Theatre. Showcasing traditional music youth groups from Sligo and Leitrim alongside Michael Rooney, Stephen Doherty, David Doocey, John Joe Kelly, a string quartet led by Niamh Crowley and the Sligo Leitrim Community Orchestra, this concert will build to a magnificent crescendo with over 100 performers from across the two counties performing on stage.
