Now in its sixth year, The Big Grill is back to celebrate the art of cooking with fire & smoke and we’ve just added a host of new food, drinks and pitmasters to the lineup. We’ve got a whopper slice of the London barbecue scene with Ali Borer head chef and co-owner of Smoking Goat just added. He’ll join Lee Tiernan from the brilliant Black Axe Mangal and pioneer of London’s high-end barbecue scene, Neil Rankin from Temper Restaurants, his Soho head chef and asador expert Martin Anderson and Goatober’s & Cabrito’s James Wheltor. BBQ expert and author Genevieve Taylor joins for the first time and Smokestak’s David Carter is back with his grown-up street food barbecue and wood-smoked meats. When it comes to drinks, we don’t think there’s another food festival that can rival our selection and we’re buzzing to have Green Man Wines join us for the first time. They’re top of the game with wine in Dublin at the moment are going to be pouring all sorts to match the food on offer. When it comes to craft beer, cider sours and low and no ABV booze you’ll be spoilt for choice with bars from Franciscan Well, Pilsner Urquell, The Bridge 1859, The White Hag, Rascals, Kinnegar Brewing, Eight Degrees, Black Donkey, Hopfully, Wicklow Wolf, Porterhouse, O'Haras, Dan Kellys, Dot Brew, Mac Ivors Cider, Scotts Cider, Sullivans Brewing Company, Trouble Brewing, Wicklow Brewery, Kildare Brewing Company, Boyne Brewhouse (Harvest Distillery). Cocktails and distilling fans can look forward to drinks from the Jameson Experience, Schweppes 1783, Dingle Gin and Mil Gin. The Big Grill is Europe's largest BBQ festival and has been named 'Festival of the Year 2018' by John & Sally McKenna in their guide - Ireland The Best.
