Qalam-kari is the traditional Persian art of stamping colourful designs onto fabric using a heavy wooden stamp carved with shapes inspired by nature. During this two-day workshop, artist Roxana Manouchehri will introduce you to traditional qalam-kari patterns but instead of carving wood, you will use lino to create our stamps. Natural dyes and cotton will be provided. This event has been organised to highlight Heritage Week.
