Northern Ireland’s biggest and best City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival 2020 returns for its 19th year, from 7th – 11th May. The North West had the feelgood factor over the Bank Holiday weekend as upwards of 70,000 revellers were jumping and jiving at the City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival. The festival welcomed both new acts and new audiences, including 80’s icon Marc Almond headlining on Friday night, Mr Wilson’s Second Liners, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Motown Gold and Kitty La Roar, with streets, squares and venues all over the city filled with everything from jazz and blues to swing and rock.
